What happens when I get started?
You tap who needs coverage, answer a few quick questions like your ZIP and some basics, and then you can book a time to talk with Eddie, or a licensed agent on the team may reach out to you. That conversation is where you see what you may qualify for and what it would cost. The quiz itself is not a quote or an eligibility decision.
Can I keep my doctor?
With a PPO plan you can pick your own doctors and hospitals within the plan's network, and you don't need a referral. Check that your doctors are in the network of the specific plan before you choose.
Do I need to wait for open enrollment?
No. You can apply any time of year instead of waiting for one yearly window. What's offered depends on your state and the carrier.
Do I need a Marketplace subsidy?
No. These private plans don't rely on a government subsidy, so not getting one doesn't rule you out.
Are these ACA or Marketplace plans?
No. AO American Benefits offers private health plans only. They are not ACA Marketplace plans, may not be Qualified Health Plans under the Affordable Care Act, and may not cover pre-existing conditions. Not every applicant qualifies, and benefits, eligibility and costs vary by state, carrier and the actual policy terms.
